The cooking grid of 20” in diameter offers 2042cm² of cooking area – more than enough room for 10 people and can even fit a 20lb turkey at Christmas! The Kamado can also be used with any of the Fire Mountain barbecue accessories range, opening up a more versatile style of outdoor cooking.
The Fire Mountain Kamado Grill is super versatile; slow cooking, baking, roasting, grilling, searing and much more! The top and bottom vents help to control airflow through the egg, allowing optimal heat circulation. Once you’ve added your food, keep the lid down as much as possible, this keeps the heat and smoke in the Kamado and stops your food from drying out.
For baking keep both vents half open for a consistent medium temperature, just like you would on a normal oven. We recommend using a pizza stone or baking tin/ tray on the main grill for perfect pizza bases and homemade breads! You can also be as experimental as you desire. Using wood chips soaked in wine, fruit juice or even beer can add depth and a new level of flavour. Make sure you place the wood chips in the charcoal or in a foil tray on the charcoal and keep the lid closed. Keep the vents nearly closed for a slow smoke effect.
Easy to clean, simple to use, ideal for all weather cooking, all year round! For the best results, we recommend using good quality charcoal that don’t contain chemical additives that could affect the flavour.
