Any wise gardener will tell you that the difference between a garden and a good garden is planning ahead. From choosing the colours of the flowers in your beds to planning a new patio there is a lot you can do in the garden to prepare for next summers sun. So think about what your garden means to you and how you use it. Is it a place you spend the days topping up your tan, with a long cool drink and lashings of lotion while the kids play on the lawn ?
Maybe you prefer to relax in the shade, shut the world out and lose yourself in a good book! Or do you want to relive those Mediterranean holidays at home by dining alfresco without the waiters 15% gratuity. I want to do at least one of those things next summer so its time for a little wise planning.
Every year it’s the same. The sun pops its head out and everyone hotfoots it to his or her local garden centre or hyper super duper megastore express and begrudgingly hand over a small fortune. I know I have done it myself but not this time. This time I intend to buy now and if possible directly from an established importer to remove the middle man but still be assured my purchases are of a high standard and under guarantee. I have been looking on the internet and although some appeared to suit my needs on closer inspection only one offers both competitive prices for top class items and the after sales care often needed today. I can order on line safe in the knowledge that my transactions are secure and most items in stock leave the company the next day on a “next” day courier service. It sounds too good to be true, there is only one way to find out…
