A wooden spreader bar maintains a flatter surface on a hammock, so you lay “on it” rather than have it wrap around you. This single hammock is big enough for one adult . Maximum load capacity is 100kg (approx 16 stone). The fabric is cotton and weighs just 1.7kg, so is easy to carry. It is easy to fit to the Sumo stand, alternatively you can sling it between two trees. For fitting guidance, see “read more”.

Fitting Guidance If slinging between trees, the maximum distance between them must be no more than 3.1m. We recommend the Smartrope to fix the hammock to a tree. One Smartrope is required for each tree. The Smartrope can be found in our hammock accessories aisle and will also be displayed below your shopping basket.

If you prefer to fit your hammock between two walls, we recommend an Easy + wall mounting. Two are required. Again, these mountings must be no further than 3.1m apart. These can be found in our hammock accessories aisle and will also be displayed below your shopping basket.

We recommend the Sumo stand for this hammock. Each stand is supplied with fixings to mount the hammock.
