What Makes The Best Rotary Washing Line

What makes the best rotary clothes line or airer?

We believe that the best rotary clothes dryer like any product to be of good quality has to be made from superior materials.

The materials must be rust free or at least rust resistant as obvioulsy this eco friendly dryers are left outside in the elemtns and you do not want your clothese to be marked from the rotary arms corroding. Aluminium or galvanised materials both offer pretty much perfect protection in this context.

Many people think aluminium rotary washing lines are a better prospect this is not always the case as aluminium does also corrode and is not as strong for the same section as galvanised materials are.

The rotary line should also rotate in the breeze ideally on the pole and not in the ground socket some airers do not rotate on the mechanism but only in the ground which is much more difficult to function correctly.

Size of airer is another major factor .. you must consider how much washing you will do if you are a couple then a 40 metre arier will do the job fine but if you have a familly and lots of washing and particularly if you need to dry large sheets then you might need a 60 metre washing line.

Height adjustment is also a factor some mechanisms go to a fixed height while others allow the arms to be moved up and down the pole to allow for different sizes of people to have a comfortable working height.

line adjustment is another thing to consider some rotary airers such as the Minky models have lines fixed at each point in the arm these do not sag and last the life of the product whereas others are spirally wound and need constant adjustment.

We recommend the Minky products as they fit the bill the best in every one of the above mentioned areas.

Happy washing!!
